Zoo Moleskine

sketches from a long overdue and must needed trip to the Denver zoo. Always fun to get interesting activity from the animals on display, today's instance was the tiger on top of the fence, lounging, but teetering on the edge of the chain link. All are direct observation except the Flamingo (one of the days personal favorites) was mostly imagination/memory and grab an instance of reference as they stilt by you. On all the sketches you can see a rough time estimate in the corner, they are all created with 3b, and a kneaded eraser on the Pygmy Marmoset only. I recommend going and drawing from life for anyone and everyone, a great way to exercise the mind and hand harmoniously. Thanks for viewing.
