Denver's 3rd Annual Plein Air arts festival is set to begin again, and it appears as if I've been used as the posterchild for some of the flyers and event banners. Also for the American Art Collector media sponsorship advertising sendout. As the last two years have proved, this will be a great event and a great opportunity for Denver's plein air painters to shine. Visit the Golden Triangle Museum website for more info.

LA BRIAN CAUFIELD TRIBUTE
In late July I had the honor of painting another tribute portrait for Brian Caufield in LA. It was a great trip, and I am very pleased with the way the portrait turned out. Many thanks and love go to Brians entire family, friends and to all who hung out those nights dealing with the latenight beat cops. Have to give a huge thanks to ESPY-DPT, from LA for helping us find a spot to paint. The piece was painted in Koreatown and is located at Union Auto. The trip coincided with the 3THW video shoot featuring Rakaa Iriscience, and is directed by Eric Heights, look for more on that to come! The other photos are from the adventures through LA, and have to give a huge thanks to Dustin, and his mint 1960 Impala that we cruised in.....beautiful.
